Glad today is over. Even though I went in to work to cover today, all I got was grief (combine that with the monthly doo-daas, I was just begging for the shift to end.) God, staff, appreciate what I'm doing please? Especially considering all the personal life shit I'm holding back in order to provide good customer service.
That means...
1. Being told that all staff were to keep an eye on products being in the wrong place after Gobby bitched about having a customer ranting at her. And saying it in a way like I was being blamed. Despite the fact I patrol the aisles ritually, facing and filing up shelves with careful precision.
Strange considering Gobby does bugger all, has placed things in the wrong place herself, yet just because she actually took her finger out, actually attempted a sale and it be a complaint, she goes on a ranting spree in the communication book.
2. The customer who dramatically walked out of the queue, not waiting the few seconds it would have taken for me to finish the current sale (was on the front alone at this point as usual.)
What is it with these people? I explained I would be with you shortly once I finished this sale, it was very clear I was on my own at this point, but you still decided to storm out, dumping your previously wanted goods on the counter, as you went. Thanks, jackass. You trying to make me hate the day any more?
Work day was full of fail, but these were the two big issues I had. Being on full day tomorrow during the delivery should be oodles of fun.
